Legally speaking, there is no offense or crime if somebody fails to either stand or sing when National Anthem is being played. One is expected to stand and sing but there is no such law which can victimise or punish a person if he or she fails to do so. Only time it is considered crime if somebody prevents the singing of National Anthem or causes disturbance to the assembly gathered to do so. In this era of hyper-nationalism fervour in our beloved country, we should be aware of our constitution and laws also. Wadoo has committed no crime as per Indian Constitution.
All the big clubs are trying to shove each other to sign the so called big names for the I-League (read somewhere Norde has demanded 3 cr for this season); even guys like Jeje and Anas have been asking for big money for playing a handful of games; surprised why BFC (who doesn't have a myopic view on these things, have been eyeing Norde. he is definitely NOT a 3 cr player )while there are no takers for a guy like Ashley - who was the man behind BFC being hailed as the first club with a professional structure. India in general and the clubs in particular would have been hugely benefitted, had they retained this man...
I doubt there is any truth to the Sony Norde to BFC.. Its just an usual ploy to hike up the price.. A former teammate of Juanan could be Alvaro Rubio's replacement
