Ludhiana based I-League debutants Minerva Punjab FC have roped in youngsters Anirudh Thapa, Baoringdao Bodo and Uttam Rai from Indian Super League (ISL) side Chennaiyin FC for the upcoming season.
Along with the trio, Laishram Bedashwar Singh has also been summoned from the Abhishek Bachchan co-owned franchise as three of AIFF Elite Academy's group of players (Thapa, Bodo and Singh) who trained with French side FC Metz's youth academy earlier this year have been signed up by the Warriors.
Vinit Rai, the Assam-born midfielder who last plied his trade at Kerala Blasters, is also understood to have passed a medical at the club. As earlier reported, Minerva have already formally announced the signings of Manandeep Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Moinuddin Khan and others.
Former Mohun Bagan centre-half Deepak Devrani has also joined the club's ranks. Nigerian Joel Yinka Sunday, who played for Aizawl FC last season, reinforces their attack.
Vishal Ravindrakumar and Avishek Das, once part of the now defunct Pailan Arrows are set to sign for the 2015-16 2nd Division I-League runners-up. Former Indian U-19 captain Souvik Das and Sporting Clube de Goa's Jovel Martins are also considering a move to Punjab's newest I-League club.
