Today horrible incident happened at B'division league match
between Bangalore Mars and Royals.
When Mars Goalkeeper Santosh got fainted and fell down on
the ground, no physio was available in the ground. All the
BDFA officials were just a silent spectators. They only
reacted when all the public started screaming. By then a
dummy ambulance had come in which we could not even
find oxygen facility. When questioned the driver of the van,
he was just an driver and he knew nothing about the first aid
procedures.
Then Santosh was just dropped at the nearby St Philomena
hospital by the ambulance; the driver vanished immediately
from spot where not even single BDFA officials were
present.
By god's grace Santosh was given treatment and was fine
after few minutes.
When players questioned the official why nobody from BDFA
had gone to the hospital, they say that they are not
responsible for what ever happens on the field. Then why
the hell should they conduct this league... for namesake...??
Meanwhile Mr.Poobal secretary of BDFA started giving
lecture about the incident and the absence of medical
person. He only realised his mistakes once all the public
started pointing his mistakes and negligence.
He immediately cancelled all the matches for time being and
further matches will only start when medical person is
available on the ground.
Horrible BDFA officials..... Life is very precious, already we
have lost a player few years ago because of the same
negligence... Still these guys have not changed..... !!
