Depleted Squad, Away Fixture, Congested Schedule- it could have been worse. 1-1 is not very bad outcome. In return Home Leg, with Sony Norde and Jeje- they will manage to defeat Club  Valencia.

Travelling is a concern. Maldives or Sri Lanka is just too far from Kolkata. It's easier for BFC or teams in Mumbai and Goa.. Being in South-East Zone is the best for Kolkata clubs.. Bangkok is closer than Bengaluru from Kolkata

Agree but we can't just say this half of India is in the East and the other in the West. Someone gets hurt but I think overall being in East Asia is more beneficial for India.
