So i checked again on soccerway, apparently the Ghanaian has Tajik nationality.. But excluding him still 4 foreigners but no Asian. Unless another one among them has Tajik nationality.
@debarghya89 Russia, Ukraine, Tajikistan and many other are former Soviet republics. Many people have dual nationality - Russian origin living in Tajikistan and vice versa. They separated in 1992 only. Due to soviet days, many have parents or grandparents living or born in some other republic. Many Athletes, if they dont get selected in Russia team for say Boxing or wrestling, they move to represent Belarus or Kazakhstan. Language / culture is no problem as everyone can speak russian.
@sam Yes but from personal experience and classmates in University (Fulbright scholars), they all have common language or bond. How many Azerbaijani or Uzbek or Latvian or Ukrainian will fail to understand Russian? Which language do they speak when they meet which each other? Whether people admit it or not, same situation of Hindi and Urdu is repeated in all Soviet republics. Many people will understand or speak Hindi even though they have different mothertongue and signboards in their cities.
