@rak_liverpool1979 Oh piss off. When the Kerala Blasters got only 34,000 in reported attendance you probably said it was 100% right and a sign of the ISL popularity dying but when we get a good attendance it is all "fudged numbers".
I watched this game, a lot of people did, if you can't see the stands filled with fans you need glasses
I am yet to find post or comment here which would logically discuss how to improve attendance, what can be done to do better cheering in fan groups, what are ideas every fan groups implement to increase their numbers, how we all can meet in some NT match and form big number.... here number of fans in stadium is directly proportional to passion
We won't see improved attendances in places like Pune, Chennai, Delhi etc. until the league becomes longer. You can't create a proper fan connection when the league lasts for 2-3 months and the marketing campaigns really last for 3-4 months at most. You need a year-round connection to build the fanbase and then slowly we can see attendances rise.
Of course there are other things teams can do to increase attendances right now. I heard Chennaiyin has not been marketing as much as they should this season for example but that will not make much of a dent until we get a long season again.
@ArsenalFan700 mixed filling among fans some fans are very loyal and will cum to stadium even if team is last most fans are performance based fans they will come if team is performing good. I am surprised by goa crowd they are still supporting even after knowing what shit team FC goa got.
