Fudging I believe happens everywhere, even in the US. The Red Bulls announced 20,000 attendance on Saturday and New York City 24,000 and I was at both games and let me tell you, it was nowhere near those and I don't buy the "people bought tickets but didn't show up" excuse or the "corporates who don't show up" excuse either.
I just don't believe the fudging from BFC is that big. 3,000 to 10,000 is quite a gap.
I am not saying that they have fudged attendance figures from 3000 to 10000 in I-league. But they have definitely raised the figures from 7000 odd to around 10000. When not even half of the stadium is filled and with empty stands galore in 3 sides out of 4, attendance figures of 10000 in that Kanteereeva stadium is hard to believe. They cant do it in AFC Cup so this is actual figure here.
@BrainFallINDIA Our zone South Asia is weak. Thats why only 1 will make it through. Only one club from Central Asia is making it through also. From 3 groups of ASEAN, only one club is making it to Inter-zonal semifinals. Our winner is going there. Look for Inter-Zone play-off semi Finals format. Remember that the next stage is inter zonal semi finals. On an exciting note, we may get to play in North Korea. We should not compare ourselves to West Asia Zone. Neither BFC nor MB have the potential to defeat Arab clubs-not even the bottom ranking in AFC Cup Groups. Just because BFC reached Finals does not mean that we were Number 2 as far as AFC is concerned. BFC would have struggled if they were placed in a group with Arab teams.

When BFC plays I-league, attendance figures look inflated. I wonder why they are fudging the attendance in I-league?
