On closely looking at the highlights, I find that it could have been a free-kick outside the box...definitely not a penalty...the contact took place just outside the box, though Katsumi tumbled inside
If Prabir Das can be adjudged the MoM, I should be given the Golden Boot award for sitting and watching I-League matches on TV!
Talking of Jayesh, this is my third post about this guy - he was impressive in ISL when he started(but definitely not a Nos.10) and then his confidence dented when he was not played in few matches. In I-League, in most matches he has been brilliant. Am sure Kolkata Clubs would be running after him next year(Bagan should lead the run riot, given his fantastic performance today )
@gaffertape ; But those 5 clubs of Santosh Guirdola Kashyap didnt go out because they finished last in I-league. Air India and ONGC were shunted out due to AIFF hatred of PSUs. Shillong clubs either themselves took decision to leave the I-League or AIFF didnt clear them. Salgaocar went out on their own.
Great display by Aizawl FC and Minerva Punjab. Low foreigners of Aizawl FC and young players of Minerva FC made us proud today. Very very close I-League.
