'After Ashley Westwood was sacked within three months of failing to win a single league game, new coach Zainal Abidin Hassan took the decision to boot out Ferreira and fellow teammate Andrew Russell, citing non-performance and poor display.'
Some other MB related news in this report:
'The Green and Maroons also released a statement to inform that they had parted ways with Denson Devadas under mutual consent as head coach Shankarlal Chakraborty didn't deem him fit to feature in his plans for the CFL campaign, a title which has eluded Bagan since 2009.'
'Surchandra Singh (formerly of DSK Shivajians and Churchill Brothers) and Souvik Das (formerly of Pailan Arrows and Minerva Punjab FC) have also secured professional contracts for the CFL, after impressing the Bagan management in a week-long trial.'
The report says that CFL will start on 12th August (not relevant to this thread but just mentioned it).
Oh for fucking fucks sake. Fuck that fucking headline! Building this article up, shocking the transfer market? The guy has spent the last season barely doing much in Indonesia and Malaysia. Not even a regular in the A-League when he was last there and hasn't been with Porto in over a decade.
Also this: "In May 2014, Ferreira signed with A-League Perth Glory in 2016."
Why this arsenal fan always angry?? He is not joining arsenal. He is joining a club which participate in i league. A reject from Malaysia may be a good player here. With out India's good players ..this type of signing is enough for winning the league twice.what you expect?? Neymar, messi ....in this circumstances we can't even think out Sony norde.
The day we feel we should be "Satisfied" that a reject from a Malaysian, S league or a A league could be a title winning factor, Our ambitions are lost there itself.
@liarhari We have decent purchase power which sadly Indian football is not using. When scouted properly we can dig in enough gems from all over the world. Given our club scouting ability is outsourced to player agencies and YouTube we will still be stuck with the current lot.
The likes of Sony, Yusa will still be taking old clubs like MB for a ride.
Who knows this new guy may play well here, But that isn't ambitious at the beginning is it?
