Agree with above, MB has probably the best squad in I-League. Top scorer from last season, best foreign winger in the league, I-League winning CB and a bunch of talented local boys who understand the weight of the jersey.
The problem with Bagan is a) an unfit side; b) have a poor bench strength; c) they don't have a CAM like the last 2 yrs; Reiyner is trying his best, but he is too raw to bail out Bagan every match; d) Kromah(if and when fit) is not a striker, but would be more effective when he plays behind them - but since Bagan doesn't have proper striker, he is being persisted with Dicka, and he is looking like a joker muffing up chances every match; e) Sanjoy Sen loves his ass so much that he first thinks of not losing - and hence has been playing with 2 DMs since the last 2 yrs - which is nothing but a luxury and disturbs the balance of the team; f) Dicka is the first person who needs to be kicked out in the Jan window(which Sanjoy isn't aware of,nor has the balls to do so); g) Had Duffy been there, Bagan would have been comfortably placed on top of the table so far.
Just add Yuta and MB is good to go but reports suggest Yuta is Out of the ileague campaign so until MB has a similar replacement lined up, this campaign is gone. I have a feeling Kromah and sony dont see eye to eye and thats a huge problem too...Dicka IMO is a good player but is increasingly isolated, against Neroca he was having to come to help out Midfield and kickstart moves...
FC Goa's latest outburst against the ISL shows how highhanded and mismanaged the ISL is. After being cajoled into the franchise by IMG-R, they are now trapped into following IMG-R orders- Last minute rescheduling. Despite doing well in the league, there are rumblings at the backend that Casino King Deltin are looking to sell stake in FC Goa due to high costs, and this latest U turn - Rescheduling of matches- by IMG-R will add to their cup of woes.
