Format is rubbish. Strongest teams are playing each other as the last match in each group. Team playing last knows what to do or what they require to progress to Semi Finals. This is what happens when only one stadium is there. Ideally last two matches should be played simultaneously. As Chennai City is winning, all East Bengal and Aizawl need to do is to rest their key players. Both EB and Aizawl have progressed to Semi Finals.
Oh yes.....it is justified now. I also agree. But if another team does it when logistic problems along with cramped schedule comes up then all teeth & nails come out. But I again say resting key players in the last group match is justified.
If Aizawl takes this last group match lightly by resting key players then EB will thrash them & they will lose momentum. In any short (maximum 5 match) tournament if momentum is lost midway there is no recovery time. Don't expect Khalid Jamil to make such mistake.
Look in SF you just be ready to play any team.....in any tournament normally best are there in SF. If BFC makes it then I think India's 4 Best teams will be in SF & that's great.
