India is bound by treaty to guarantee Bhutan's sovergneity, Indian Army is present all over Bhutan in significant numbers along with some special forces.
One Chenho means nothing and also Bhutan could probably develop faster than India could ever do. We mustn't spoil their future.
Its not just about giving them citizenship. AIFF can have a special quota for SAFF nations. Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia have started a new Asean quota from this year. And its a good opportunity for players from Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam to play in stronger leagues of the region like Thai League or MSL..
Similarly Thailand is reaping the benefits of being a J-League partner nation. So many Thai players are now in J-League because players from Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Singapore, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, and Qatar are not considered as foreigners in Japan.. AIFF should have tried for such a partnership with J-League. It would have been a great opportunity for our players to play in Japan. Currently 3 Thailand senior team and 2 U-23 national team players are playing in J1 League
This was a well deserved kick up the backside of MB, this will spur them to be smarter going forward.......dicka and Kromah were misfits in MB system but not bad players, also there is no point in spending half the team budget on Sony if every season he will play only 9-10 matches.... Atleast the title is wide open and noone can take it for granted.......
I second Rohan on this. Makes sense to invite them or Atleast invite them to cup competitions. Durand can be reguvinated esp winners won’t make to Asia

Have a stable league system
Then we can think about helping Bhutan,Nepal and Bangladesh
And stop bring comparisons with Thailand they are way above us in terms of everything
We need to make our system better for our own players then think about helping others
