Against CFL sides these results shouldn't be taken seriously. EB still doesn't have a proper left full back, it's a shame, Chullova a completely right footed player is being played there, first by Jamil and now by Bastab-Bhowmick duo. Ironically, we have loaned out Deepak Kumar who is a left footed left full back.
Very promising unit this east bengal side. A lot of thing to like about the team. But special mention must go to the defence line. An all indian defense has kept all clean sheets so far, which is a commendable effort. I genuinely like the guy mehtab singh, very gutsy sort of footballer. Overall team has looked in good shape and filled with intelligence. No doubt, prime favourites for the 9th consecutive CFL premiere division title
