Age controversy is their own creation. What was the need for them to thump their chest saying 16 year old. Then changing name spelling Gaurav / Gourav Mukhi / Mukhee !!!
Can they tell what is the age as per passport ?? If it is 16, then stick with it. Ask TV commentators not to broadcast dodgy date of birth !!!
( Mr Singhvi, whose candidature in the Rajya Sabha polls in supported by state's ruling Trinamool Congress, said CPM is baselessly referring to a 2006 age declaration form with a "typographical error" that has no significance in 2018.)
In cricket : (Those who were in active followers of cricket in 90s will know Reetinder Singh Sodhi. He won the under15 world cup and then found out to be 17 in India.)
With TATA's backing I don't think there will be anything like ban. Worst case it can be a fine which JFC will pay and that record which says he is youngest will not be there.
JFC & mainly TATA Steel has promoted and supported him like anything. Also, why do you think you find Time Cahill always promoting the two local kids Gourav and Mobashir every now and then ? Coz he has been said to do so. That's his job more of a mentorship than a player. Barring Northeast(which also doesn't have players from Guwahati) which club has real local talent. So, it's not going to loose it main marketing thing.

I'll try to be there. Although it's very unlikely. I'll let you know if I manage to come.
ISL announces change of schedule for BFC and ATK fixtures
BFC were to host ATK at Sree Kanteerava Stadium on October 31 and travel to Kolkata on December 13.
Bengaluru FC’s next home game against ATK in the ongoing Indian Super League (ISL) has now been swapped as the home game for the two-time champions.
The change was necessitated due to Karnataka state government’s requirement of Sree Kanteerava Stadium ground in preparation for Kannada Day.
BFC were to host ATK at Sree Kanteerava Stadium on October 31 and travel to Kolkata on December 13 to play their away game.
However, with the change in schedule, BFC will now first face ATK at Kolkata on October, 31 and play host on December 13, the ISL said in a release.
Mukhi is in very big trouble if some serious actions are taken against him
Don't know how this guy thought he can be 16 and have a moustache and beard like a 22-25 year old and nobody will recognise
In India it's rampant :
