Watched Bagan's match for the first time this season. Didn't find it to be as fluid as EB. U can make out the pedigree of a coach, looking at how teams play. AM is brilliant while its too early to comment on Kibu. But this Nos.10 guy Beitia looked excellent as a CAM. Bagan actually has been without a CAM since Lenny left. All were bits n pieces players.
While rest of the other foreigners looked avg.
It appeared the two wing backs have a very important role to play in Kibu's scheme of things - and both Ashutosh & Gurjinder looked absolute trash. Bagan have aged side backs who are either coming back from injury (Dhana) or Gurjinder/Ashutosh who are aged and cannot track back if they overlap; Chullova's defending quality is below avg. This is the reason Bagan has conceded almost the same number of goals as the ones they have scored!
The DM Sk. Sahil appeared to be good. Jesuraj, Surabuddin, Naorem did lot of running, showed lot of commitment, but unfortunately they are not finished product and lack the necessary skills.
The other T&T defender(Daniel) has a good CV, but in the absence of quality sidebacks, Bagan would leak in lot of soft goals. 2night Gurjinder just allowed Krizo to head past him - such unfit player!
Unless Bagan resurrects its defence and have a proper goal poacher, it can at max look to finish in the Top3 this season in I-League.
