Well what I meant was that we seem to be tolerating a lot of crap posts here..people may be bored with quarantine etc but gives them no reason to post bs.. This keeps a lot of genuine members away from a healthy discussion
No wonder IFN is losing its purpose and esteem of being a level headed football discussion forum due to biased, conservative, hateful and deranged mindset of a good number of the legacy members here.
Fifa should derecognize all leagues who have implemented anti football rules and ban those clubs from those leagues in playing in all continental and international football, in india, I league should be re recognized as top division as its the only league which follows FIFA rules.
"The IFAB has agreed to make a temporary amendment to the Laws of the Game based on a proposal received from FIFA seeking to protect player welfare," an IFAB statement read.
I agree with @sam when he says that the rule--five subs--has not been invented by ISL but is in accordance with IFAB statements which themselves are based on proposals received from FIFA. In fact, I was thinking about noting my objection to @munna's comment but I had to stay awake the entire last night for some professional work and had to take a nap in the morning. I thought I would come back to it later.
I do agree that there have been comments which have been biased, unreasonable, even unparliamentary and these have somewhat taken the sheen off the discussions here. This biasedness has, however, been from both sides, those who have been fans of the ISL and the I-League. There have been comments that legacy clubs like EB, MB need to close down because they have become redundant nowadays and hardly anybody was aware of Indian football before 2014 when the ISL started. Such one-sidedness should also be taken into account when we talk of the "biased, conservative, hateful and deranged mindset of a good number of the legacy members". Some of the non-legacy members are equally guilty of such a blinkered mindset too.
ALSO, I have a problem with the words "hateful", "deranged". I would say that these are too strong words to be used in such a context. I accept that some of the comments have overstepped the bounds of reason or logic and have been unduly negative about either the ISL or I-League. But the term "deranged" as far as I know, smacks of madness, insanity, or some sort of mental sickness. Is it right for a member to call a fellow-member "deranged" however strongly he feels that his opinions are wrong/preposterous/unreasonable? This sort of a name-calling might itself be called a 'hateful' comment by that particular fellow-member.
@sam, I know your heart is in the right place and you have only the good of Indian football at heart but sometimes when we see certain things which should not be happening, we get too carried away. It has happened in my case too. Also, in the public domain, it is advisable not to use certain words which we would use in private discourse. I hope you would not take this friendly advice to heart but understand that such a long post is only for keeping things "level-headed" here at IFN and not to raise fingers at any of the IFNians .
@Sam a EB fan who turned ATK fan he has deep love for isl but now as ATK has been closed down and replaced by MB he has moved back to EB but love for private tournament is still there he will support even 4 breaks in single isl match if Nita announces that tomorrow.

This rule is not invented by ISL. Its a rule implemented by many major leagues for covid.

This exactly is derangement, not even bias.
