Need to find players who use their mind, good attitude & have football tactical sense... Then provide them a contract, and improve their work rate, by making them professionals..
Reverse happens in India... So runners are becoming footballers... Coz aiff national youth coaches come via recommendation & not via merit... They themselves know very little about scouting
Thoi Singh for his work rate, attitude should be running 10000m race in Tokyo 2020 for India . Instead wasting time in cfc.. Gregory thought to make him in midfield like kante since he can run more than 12km.. But it was a disaster and he changed him to wings the next match ... Udanta should be running 100 or 200 m in Tokyo Olympics.. He would have been a top athlete & a star performer
Feels the same for chhangte when he crosses or finishes pathetically.. But he is better than udanta

Newer kids are way better than their older counterparts at their age thankfully. Udanta should be dropped till he has the balls to prove himself. His speed isn't something we should ignore, rather hope he gets better mental conditioning. Even with his bad form he forces opponents to play deeper backline which helps the team over all. He seems weak on his left, cutting in is never an option so he struggles.

If we consider Udants replacement then we have below option..
Radeem tlang - has been super flop this season after initial goals Jackichand singh- I dont think he will do any good outside FC goa set up even in that set up he flunks 8 out of 10 times Jerry- again at start he was good then ordinary (imo his main issue is physique) Setyisen singh- He was surprisingly good this season but need improvement and consistency Farukh choudhary- was used as RM/RW and did reasonably well (considering I had 0 expectations) but can he step up for NT level? nor sure
Rahul KP and Laldanmawia ralte were either entirely flop or were never utilized as RW properly
So bottom line is as much I dont like Udanta (in general) hes the best option atm
Exactly my point. Hes the best we got in rw. People comparing him to soosai who doesn't even play the same position. But yeah maybe a radical move would be to try udanta on left and see if he can cut in on stronger foot. Unlikely but may change his fortune
