Vikram just got a few minutes and chased every single ball. Jhingan & Subasish were already bullying Amey throughout the match. There was a tackle on Amey I guess and I think Subashish stepped on him after it. There were some complains and Vikram got hit by a hand from someone (Jhingan I guess). Nothing much in it. He went down. Tiri came and tried to pick him up holding his shirt. I've seen a video of Jhingan kicking him while he's down. Hernan got involved. Subasish & Hernan got booked.
In the last action, Arindam challenged Vikram and he went down. There weren't any replays to check whether it was foul or not. Just after final whistle, Vikram and Arindam had a go at each other.
MB players were already frustrated because the goal came through a counter attack after Edu went down and stayed on the floor (not a foul).
Vikram made a claim for penalty and Arindam came charging towards him. I think that was not appropriate from Arindam who is known to have anger management issues in the past. Then Halder kind of pushed Vikram in a rude way and more players joined in. It was more like frustration from MB. Vikram is pacy indeed. He can be a super sub just like Liston Colaco is. Needs 20-30 minutes at the end of each game when opposition is tiring.
Vikram has always been very arrogant. Remember SAFF Championship final goal. I've seen Vikram picking up a fight with Eslava, throughout an I-League match for no reason at all. Referee Crystal John, who usually communicate a lot with players, was having a very tough time controlling Vikram. He escaped with a booking (the only booking in that match). He played so self-fishly that day and wasted a lot of chances.
The whole point of Indian Arrows is to teach the boys to stand up against the senior players. But you have to do it with the ball, not by picking a fight with the seniors.
Yesterday, Sandesh & Arindam should have behaved in a responsible manner.
Renaissance for the coach, who was sacked unceremoniously despite taking the team to top of the table last season and top 4 performances for 2 seasons before... Akshay Tandon must be wondering, if he had made a wrong decision
His coaching staff of Jesus Tato and one more too went away with him... All his players are loyal to him & came back to join him. They want to play for him instead of playing for the club. It includes a goan player who was captain of the club & who did not report to natl team squad (along with Romeo) citing club loyalty..
Kudos to Lobera.. National team coach requires int'l coaching experience, which he does not have.. but if he does well for 2 more years, city group might take him to lead Girona FC to La liga. Girona are now in Segeunda and I think their current coach profile, is way below Lobera.. Or can imagine him adding to coaching staff of Man City or coach of Man city reserves.. he once said Pep has interned under him during his coaching badges
If you see Las Palmas coaching history for last 10 years, only Sergio Lobera and Quitec seiten have managed the team for 2 seasons. Rest all have been sacked within 1 year, which includes Manuel Roca..
Yesterday, Hernan Santana was playing the role, which Jahou does.. So next season, they need an Indian CB to step up..(also in AFC champ league). Looks like Lobera is not happy with Rakip in RB.. Seriton who looks faded can be taken from Fcgoa by throwing some oil money or giving Farukh/ Sourav Das..
Well deserved position for MCFC. They play well & are good in set pieces as well.. ATK-MB for their ATM Simeone tactics of Habas would be table toppers only if they score via set pieces
MB supporters must ask for Set piece improvement to their mgmt .. Manvir is good in air, so is krishna, but not much goals..

As a forward, he committed lot of fouls and got yellow carded in I League.
