In 2011 Prize money was 10 lakh rupees.

This time how much was prize money for the champions ? Somewhere I read the figure of 3 lakh rupees. Is it true ?

Prize money went down.

Probably due to no Gate money due to Corona, absence of teams like Mohun Bagan, East Bengal.

It is an iconic tournament and deserve much better.

In late 90s   early 2000s     Star Sports used to broadcast IFA Shield. I remember 2004 when Beto came to play for mohun bagan, after winning Derby in SF, Burmese team defeated MB.
