Thanks FC Goa for giving us such good coaches, from Ziko to Lobera and this guy Juan. Take a bow gaffer. He changed the body language completely. Seriton and Glan both had the opportunity to wrap up. Dheeraj made an impossible save in the end. He is getting muscled out easily in crowded situation. He has age in his side so expecting improvement. Will have to wait till we see some clinical finish from Indian teams to clinch victory.
Credits to the one who found Juan Ferrando. Juan is a gem. The players are not that great skillfully. It's the same Indian players whom we always complained about various things - poor first touch, bad decision making, etc. The change is in the mentality. They don't go to matches thinking about how many goals they concede. They have only one thing in mind - don't let them score and they'll do anything for that. The team showed good concentration level throughout the tournament (except one match). Credits to Juan, coaching staff and the players.
Although FC Goa stopped just short of creating history, they can be proud of their performance.
They nearly defeated a team founded 54 years ago (whereas they are only 7 years old), have been champions of the QSL 8 times, coached by a WC winning defender.
And despite many doomsayers, only FC Persepolis, last year's finalists , have managed to beat them in two games

No mean feat that!!
A win in next match, we will finish in 3rd position. Even a point would be good for 3rd spot, provided Al Rayyan doesn't win last game.
Dheeraj Singh dropped 2 points by fumbling infront of the post. But balanced with excellent save , thus saved us from defeat.
