Apuia was approached by FC Tokio (J1 League). This was revealed by the club's local representative, to a Famous Japanese Source. It would benefit him greatly if he was on the FC Tokio's sub-bench instead of being on Mumbai or ATKMB. Hoping this goes through.

Even if the rumour is true, Lalengmawia has to secure a release from NorthEast United before August 11. That's going to be difficult. 

In the case of Jhingan, he has time until August 31.

can you explain a bit more? won't the transfer window end for every club on the same day?

@Raghs Different nations have different transfer windows. For international transfers, transfer window in incoming nation should be open. It doesn't matter if it is closed in outgoing nation. Japanese window closes on August 11. So Apuia has to become a free agent/sign the contract on or before 11th.

Anyway, Ashish Negi just tweeted that Apuia will stay in ISL.
