Stadium ownership is a very complex model.
Many top clubs actually lease their stadiums from their associated companies or public city councils.
Due to increase in tax income, local municipal corporations of western countries encourage sporting events.

Though BFC Soccer Schools is not fully functional due to Pandemic, BFC is the only ISL club which runs professionally.

As far as I know , they have tried for long term lease, both Sree Kanteerava & Bengaluru Football Stadium. But Karnataka govt and/or city council are not willing to help them out.

Buying land in a city like Bengaluru & constructing a stadium is no easy business.

BFC gave up on Bengaluru football ground rights after seeing the quoted price for all changes required which they did not want to invest. Ozone took up the plan but it went no where

There is no revenue in Indian football so nobody wants to invest any money.

    Remember Transtadia its collecting dust
