Pin for what? A league which is run like a joke and is already over after half a round? Half of the clubs playing in iLeague cant even get 1000 people in their stands and they dont even have the money to get paid fans. This league is rightfully getting replaced by the ISL reserve league from next season.
Media houses love to post any negative news or rumour without verifying with the name of Air India. Public also believe in that very quickly. Deliberate negativity.
At least this gives some cheap publicity to I-League Clubs. Remember when Luca SC of Kerala was launched and there was a rumour that they will bid for direct entry to I-League, though they later clarified that they will focus of KPL first. This gave them good publicity among Indian Football fans.
The same happened with Rajasthan United. This bridge news has given them more exposure among Indian Football fans than anything the AIFF could have done.
