Two really poor signings by East Bengal in Eliandro and that Cypress defender, Charalambos Kyriakou. Ivan, Cleiton and Lima are ISL proven however almost all EB foreigners dont have age on their side.
Not surprising. Many Christians are named after Christian saints. In Greece and Greek speaking parts of Cyprus Saint Charalambos is quite famous. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charalambos
I think by appointing Steven as a coach, is taking a step back - a blunder made by EB mgmt. The problem is if Nitu continues to keep interfering in transfer matters, their league standing would embarrass and disappoint their supporters.
The foreign signings have been below par and that shouldn't have been the case unlike the domestic players who mostly have long term contracts & hence they would have had to break the bank to get the ones they would have wanted. But not so for the foreigners and it showed the inexperience of the mgmt when they played safe by going for avg. ISL players. However, some of the domestic signings(especially from I-League clubs) seem to be promising.

EB's Kyriakou has not played for Estoril, the second one has.
Many people are making this mistake because they have the same names
