Oxford united fans are pretty mad after Des was sacked. They all remember the manager who took them to Championship after decades to being in lower leagues. They were above relegation in championship and hence the sack.

Hope some ISL clubs are taking notice. MCFC should go for him. He did a great job and always gave MB a tough fight with lesser resources than them.

The general talk among fans over in UK are supportive of Des . He will in all probability land a job in the UK itself .

Yeah he did a great job, the club has not been in championship after 25 years. The promotion play off was something most fans can't get over yet. Everyone is supportive of Des because he is still playing with players in League one level. He doesn't have experienced players in his squad and not one player in championship experience was signed as well. All the fans are hating the fact that an Oxford home grown boy was not given enough time. They are still a point above relegation zone.

He might get to manage a League One club probably, I don't think any Championship club will take such a risk( he is worth the risk if you give him a good squad IMO). Considering that some ISL club especially MCFC which he loves and was more than happy to let him go inspite of contract extension he signed with them. It can work out

Transfer : Austrian forward Marc Andre Schmerbok to replace Cesar Manzoki at Mohammedan SC. Even though Shaan Hundal was the initial choice, he couldn't join due to visa issues.
