Why are we realising this now? cause for 3 years of preparations we only played weak/3rd division club teams and trashing them. this give a gimmick look that we are super quality world class team but when you play real teams 2 months before WC you see where we stand.
Only good thing out of this is some bad publicity for IMG-R & their slaves.. Or else we had to tolerate shit like, " ISL inspired kids thrash Latin American teams"
I dont understand what you all are whining about???
My worry is that the U17 pool of players will struggle to cross 50 and definitely will not be over 100... whom we can put money on to become future top division players in india....
This should have been our prime motto.... this WC is going to be nothing different from the asia cup which we qualified..
Sadly, we still dont have players outside of the squad who are playing regularly in india and pushing for a spot to the WC team... this completely loses the plot of the plan from FIFA in gifting us this WC
There has been no diluting of the team core from Adam's time. In fact, since Matos has come in, he has bought in a few more players but the majority of the starters have been from the time of Adam.
The new players Matos has bought in are Anwar, Namit, Jackson and Nongdamba (of whom has played matches so far that I know of).
Its not about new players, it is about just before biggest tournament in Indian Football History. Changing the playing Style. Adam playing style done fine in AFC U-16 qualifiers and Championship and also in Brics Cup. Matos might be good coach but he have to less time to make adjustment.
Just bcz of few Indian Coaches and Supporting Staff whole hard work is going into vain now.

But because we have been losing for a long time
We win matches against 2nd/3rd div team but bigger teams completely dominate us
Till then don't see us succeeding much
