Kalimpong League
Kalimpong is a town in Darjeeling district of West Bengal. This district is in the hilly regions of West Bengal and has ample influence of the neighboring North East states, apart from the fact its a part of football powerhouse West Bengal.
Kalimpong has given some international players like :
-Jerry Basi
-Lt Pem Dorji- captained India
-L.B. Basnet (Services)
-Lt Ravilal Lama (Gorkha Regiment)
-R.B. Gurung (Gorkha Regiment)
-Bikash and Vijay (Services)
The Kalimpong league has 3 divisions now : The Super Division, 1st Division and the Mini Division.
This year the league has already started on 28th May. We will try to get updates of the results.
