Since there was no thread for Subrata Paul I will start it out. Kudos to the best goalkeeper during the Asian Cup.

Thanks for opening this thread. He was out due to injury but has joined the Indian camp yesterday after recovery. Wish him best of luck
  • He plays better for India than at club level

There are numerous players that are good at their club, but are horrible when they play for their national team. For example Keisuke Honda of Japan contributes and plays well when it comes to playing for his national team, but when it comes to playing for his club CSKA Moscow he is horrible.

Hey! Nice video of Subrata Pal man! I had never seen this b4. It rightly says he is Asia's best. But he can also bcome world's best with proper exposure

I wouldn't say "Asia's best". It's more like South and Central Asia's best cause there are a lot of goalkeepers such as Ali Al Hasbi, Kawashima, Jung Sung-Ryung, etc. that are just as good.

I dunno..... Schwarzer is getting pretty old, but if you talking about 2 or 3 years ago then yeah he was one of the best in Asia.

nice video... he plays well for his club also... Pune FC form in second half just shows that... of course they are few more reasons for their fine form in second half,,, but he is one of the PFC top performer who guided them into top 5 once again.. also we can say it by the number of goals conceded by PFC in last 2 seasons with Pal..

well he plays well alright...but no where near wat he does for india...i have seen him play in Bangalore..fumbled easy balls twice, one resulted in goal...not expected from him.....i think the motivation level is very high when playing for india...and in general Bob is/was known for his motivation skills, if not anything else
