Anthony is the worst performer in the team. In last 3 & 1/2 much we have not seen any impressive run from him aeighther any decent cross. Stiven is not in form but he has good prvious records. He can be tried in the final. I dont think the coach is in the mood to use Lalrindika who is the best for the job. He can try Stiven then Lalrindika as substitute instead of Anthony.
Climax is simply making too many mispasses and he doesn't have good defensive quality (We are missing Mehtab for the job). I have not seen anything extra ordinary inJewel Raja. Sanju Pradhan must be included next time. May be Lalkamal too.
Defence is improving in every match. Nirmal should have to improve his crosses after coming to overlap. Most these crosses were going to the opponent. Thanks God Sameer Nayik was out. I would like to see Nabi in the left wing instead of left back. It will give him more freedom to attack and help the team. If Raju Gaikowad and Arnab Mondal are included in the team after the tournament , the coach will have this option.
Miranda is good against weaker team but he lacks the dribbling skill and his pace is not good enough now to brak in stronger defence. After an impressive run if you make a insipid back bass all your run go to vain.
Sunil and Jeje were good though the missed some good opportunities. In some cases Jeje met bad lack. Still they are better. Sushil or Joaquim should not be in 18 members team either. Robin Singh and Asim Biswas should come instead.

@ Robin Singh is not over rated but the problem is he is losing his focus perhaps engaged in things other than football. EB officials and coach should look after him.
Beside this, I think he would have scored more goals if EB coach used him properly. Example- when East Bengal is on attack from right which is stronger wing because of Vasum and Naoba and Tolgay , Robin attacks the second post while someone from midfield the first post (or Baljit when they use 3 forwards) but the crosses rarely goes to him and the minuses never. Naturally he scores less from his attack. When EB gets corner, Robin is assigned with the job to flick it inside box where someone waits to put it in goal. A good well practiced set peice and EB has scored many from this move but RObin misses the opportunity for the cause of the team though he is the strongest header in the team.
And, as of India team, I dont consider Sushil or Baljit as strikers.

Baljit is better than Robin I think.I do not know why most of the people here are so fascinated about him.He is highly over hyped player.
Regarding SAFF chamionship even if we win this by thrashing afgans we will be moving 2-3 odd places in Fifa ranking.Savio correctly pointed out that this should be u-23 tournament which is ideal to test the future stars.
Baljiyt Singh? You need to put the ball on goal line and remove the goal keeper to make him score and still he can surprise you wasting that chance. I am saying this being a EB fan and after watching both Baljit and Robin in almost all games of East Bengal including Kolkata league. First two places surely goes to Sunil and Jeje. But for next two spots Asim and Robin are far better than Baljit and Sushil.
