It says there will be this league for age groups 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14!!!! Its a 7 a side tournament

The League will start on 19th November 2011 and matches will be played on the weekends.

I think its initiated by PIFA, correct me if I am wrong

Its PIFA thing. PIFA has so far not produced even a single credible player off their ranks. Their club teams are permanent strugglers. Its more like a business where mediocrity rules. No scouting, nothing. Anyne who can pay the fee is welcome here.

But at least they have kept the football culture alive in this part of Bombay

exactly the clubs like pifa and indian tigers acadamey just organise these camps and league without any proper vision or any aim....they just to this to keep the interest of people in their team alive......if you see one team that stand out from mumbai football other than the renowned teams(mumbai fc, air india,ongc), then that has to be kenkre fc, they possess one of best youth system in their ranks from maharshtra easily next to mumbai fc in mumbai.. ..and also a regular in top division of mfl

this league not even deserves to be called as a premier football league as nothing for this league can be termed premier...neither the players(any skilled or unskilled kids...??), staffs(from PIFA), coaching(inexperienced parents...???)....can this be termed as premier football league in any ways??? rather a better name i can suggest for this league wud be "PIFA Sunday Football League".... <!-- s:confusion-shrug: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/confusion/shrug.gif" alt=":confusion-shrug:" title="Shrug" /><!-- s:confusion-shrug: -->
