Agree with munna.. its abt age.. hes in phase where he shud secure future with decent money deal.. if he was bit younger then he can go n expriment.. the 6months without action kansas should have been 6months in okish league in europe n could have benefited..
But its ypungsters like jeje i think shud get out now for betterment...
Not exactly. He is European material but not up their and honestly it is not bad at all for him to join a club outside whether its in the United States, Thailand or bloody New Zealand. If he is at a club where he can play regularly against higher quality than I-League than thats all that matters. He is 29 but a guy like Zlatan is 31 and is dominating Ligue 1 with PSG so don't count Sunil Chhetri out of it.
As for the youngsters. Jeje Lalpekhlua needs more time in India. Once he is constant scorer again and finds his 2010-11 form then we can talk about him going abroad. Same with Holicharan who has only scored once in the last 11. Of course he is only 18 years old but still. To start every game you should be scoring at a rate of once per 5 matches.
Don't get me started on the rest. Currently the only Indian ready to fully take the foreign step is Chhetri. I think very soon Gurpreet Singh Sandhu can do it.
@Arsenalkid700 I dont think they are talking about Sunil's in age context that he is too old to play well...these guys are saying that from a personal career and financial decision, he doesnt have much time to experiment and payscale will be in a imp factor for him
