Khassa Camara's Mauritania qualified for 2021 African Cup Nations to be held in January-February 2022. Mauritania defeated Central African Republic 1-0 in their final qualifier match today. They have now qualified for 2 consecutive editions of the tournament, having qualified for the first time in 2019.

Khassa Camara was the captain today and played the whole 90 minutes.

2019 African Cup of Nations also had an India-based player - Khalid Aucho. He moved to Egyptian league after the tournament.
