We cannot really count friendly games and it is a away game for Syria. Moreover, their top 2 strikers haven't played this game (Omar Khribin & Omar Al Somah) due to some personal & unknown issues/differences. 

We have defeated Syria earlier & our full-strength team in current form can defeat Syria. But in Asian cup, we will be facing Syria in last game in group stage. Mostly, our players will be worn-out after playing Australia (1st game) & Uzbekistan (2nd game). 

Our aim should be finishing 2nd in WCQ 2nd round and playing 3 rd round to gain experience against top Asian sides. Maybe next Asia cup we can manage a knock round finish with better preparation and experience gained from WCQ
