Its Pune FC 1-1 Prayag United after 55 mins
  • Round 20 has altered the championship battle contest drastically.
Dempo is clear leader and hot favorite for title thanks to healthy 6 point lead.

Mohun Bagan and Salgaocar has given itself a real shot at the title. Though I am MB fan, but compare to MB, Salgaocar has the capability to win the title because of Karim (Jose Mouhrino of Indian football). He has the knack of really changing the table standing. Only possible banana skin is their participation in AFC Cup (real distraction in the title pursuit).

East Bengal and Churchil Brothers has lost a little ground by dropping supposed to be easy points. It will be really difficult for CB if Gomes leaves his post even if they a game in hand with Pailan Arrows. On other hand, East Bengals inconsistency is to be blamed for the condition they are in. Also their participation in AFC Cup will be a distraction in title pursuit.

    My final standing
    1) Dempo or Salgaocar(around 50 - 52 points)
    2) Dempo or Salgaocar(around 50 - 52 points)
    3) Mohun Bagan or EB
    4) East Bengal or MB
    5) Churchil Brothers
    6) Pune FC or Prayag U
    7) Prayag United or Pune FC
    8) SCG
    9) Shilong lajong or Air India
    10) Air India or Shilong Lajong
    11) Mumbai FC
    12) Chirag United (relegated)
    13) HAL (relegated)
    14) Pailan Arrows
  • i am yet to win a mumbai fc win on tv ....
    why you lose all those matches which is telecasted on tv??? <!-- s:angry-screaming: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/angry/screaming.gif" alt=":angry-screaming:" title="Screaming" /><!-- s:angry-screaming: -->

but still happy to see the way we played in the first half which gives a bit consolation that we can be better in coming matches and in next season

Mumbai FC did amazing today. I think Jamil made a great decision in moving Yadav into the defense. He is much better there today. I think Jamil needs to focus on getting some more technical players over the off-season. Get Malemngamba Meetei from HAL SC when they get relegated. Meetei is a very good Midfielder and at the age of 20 has a lot of potential. Get rid of Kingsley Chioma. He is good but Mumbai can do better. Try signing Rohit Chand from HAL SC, again he wont like the 2nd Division and Jamil likes to sign young players and if HAL can afford Rohit then Mumbai can too, of course the problem is other clubs after Rohit. Sign Pradeep Mohanraj from Chirag United because they will be relegated to and Pradeep is a good fullback.

Also CK Vineeth and Anil Kumar will be available as well. Kumar is to old but Vineeth should be on Mumbai's shoppinglist.

I would love to see Mumbai FC to come out with this lineup next season...
    Ishan Debnath
Zohib Amiri, Rohit Chand, Abhishek Yadav, Sabas Saleel
Malemngamba Meetei, Sampath Kuttimani, Pradeep Mohanraj
Cavin Lobo, Gbeneme Friday, Ebi Sukore

They need Defenders, they could go ahead with Prathamesh and Deepak Devrani from Arrows. Also Vineeth is a good option on right flank, but its only possible if Viva gets relegated or else its not possible.

Yep. Deepak Devrani and Shilton D'Silva too. Also try selling Sukore and put Vineeth in that spot or you could put Meetei in that spot and have D'Silva go in midfield.

Also if Chirag stay up it does not matter because then it would be Mumbai going down.
