Chirag United SC was originally established in 1927 as Eveready Association. In 2006, it was renamed as United Sports Club following financial backing by Chirag Sports Pvt. Ltd.[1] With the inflow of sponsorship, the club clinched promotion to the first division of the I-League in 2007. Chirag United is the only team apart from three other big clubs of Kolkata (East Bengal, Mohan Bagan and Mohammedan Sporting) to win the Durand Cup.

Better shift to other city or face the axe,signing players chhetri etc will not help them garner support in Kolkata.
They should dump the name Chirag United first! what the hell do these ppl plan?
