Can someone throw some light on the Iraq youth football development as their u-19 team also reached the wc today like the U-16's!!!! they beat Japan 2-1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for the guy who made this deal, Eric Benny, he was with AIFF then went abroad and guess what he was in France. i guess he sort of made contracts there. In any case good for India, but I hope some of the deserving guys can go to these academies on scholarships
Considering there age and the amount of time they will be in France I dont think it matters how rich. If it was funded by money then thats good. Again, because of there age and the fact they are starting at the Academy, it is good. They are arriving on foreign soil at a young age and at the right level as well. They will have plenty of time to adapt.
Whatever it is atleast now our youngsters have started going abroad to train..this is something which was totally missing few years back...But how on earth are Iraq reaching all world cups'..they are beating established youth setups of Uzbeks, South korea and Japan!!!
