I dont think we can blame Eric lalsunzuala as an age cheat in this case. According to the tweet Eric's real DOB ie.15th June 2002 was known to AIFF from the begining. Unlike Mukhi this guy hasn't come out with multiple DOBs in different competitions. AIFF always knew he was a 17 year old participating in an u16 exposure tour. The blame should be on the Federation. Is it legal of the federation to intentionally put an overage player in an exposure trip for a particular age group? What does the management gain out of this?
This is not a case of age frauding because his real age was always disclosed. Whereas in Aniket case the age of the player is allegedly fudged. This is more like a case of corruption from AIFF.
@karansh If they know his age and wantedly took him there, then Coach Bibiano Fernandes should be sacked... He is the one who selected him knowingly.. No wonder he does such a secret Scouting... @goalkeepar@sam
All AIFF age group Coaches indulge wantedly in Age fraud, so that they will retain their jobs.... They encourage the players to bring in documents with lesser age, so that they can include them in the squad....
Subsequently, these players will never improve beyond a level and go waste, which is happening to most of the AIFF elite academy cadets... Indian football will continue to suffer....
@Siv Nobody should be sacked without proper inquiry. Eric may not be eligible for u16 team but can still represent India at the u19 level. We dont know the intentions behind keeping him in that team. Bibiano has been doing a fantastic job such distractions shouldnt be created before the all important qualifiers. A more dedicated Indian would have raised this issue after the end of the qualifiers not hours before the first qualifier match. I see nefarious intentions here.

A more dedicated indian football fan will protest against age frauds to be stopped forever and fraudsters to be punished, so that these things dont happen in future.... Tax payer money is being wasted by these Age group Coaches and if we question this on the day of qualifiers, we are criminals??
What is this all important qualifiers? just as usual afc u16 qualifiers which happens every 2 years and not a world cup qualifier... How is this called a distraction when the captain of the Indian u15 national team touring Italy in the year 2019 is not there today and age as per CRS is 17 years....And that squad was scouted by Bibiano Fernandes, who did not check the age is CRS or did not want to check.... A plastic fan will only support these fraudsters .. See Akash Sharma twitter post today which has clear evidence of fraud happening in Indian Youth football....
You guys @sam ; @karansh will support inspite of all these frauds. After 5 years when u realise none of these players graduating or maturing enough to find a place in national team, u will realize the importance of this so called DISTRACTION
