We are simply not cut for this level. From U-19 onwards we are simply not good to be honest. They always start well in first half but do not have ability to maintain the same till end of the game. Expect us to concede more towards the end
We give such less game time between u16-u20, give is stintng the development of these players. Earlier it was seconded with age fraud as well, which is in much better shape now
At U-19 level age fudging doesn't matter much because physically players are almost fully developed/peak.
I dont think we really have system or kind of exposure at youth level to match these top Asian nations. Even though we did score good goals I dont think we were good enough to match the Iraqis in skill, technique or fitness.
We were actually playing well but thatvwas a top notch finish. Jangra's finishing has been very disappointing..would have loved to see Parthib Gogoi here
Compared to Iraq Australia play slow game. Here we can do better from previous game. If you see the second own goal we are actually helping the Aust team to qualify for the finals. We are missing some of the basic from our U17 team like the two defenders are not moving ball ahead also individual players feared to take a player although they are technical skillful. I would say in this level coach Venkatesh is not up to the expectation if we had a better coach at least we could give a good fight
