I remember watching this match. I was gunning for Senegal, them being the underdogs. This match has to go into records for so many hits on the bars.<div>Even my father and uncle were so excited watching Senegal play</div>

I had actually faked my friend over the phone that senegal had won 3-1 even before the match had started..<br>to his and my amusement senegal actually won that match ....  iremember that time heny eas EPL top scorer and trezefuet Serie A top scorer..  <br><br>Also remember the front page of TOI .<br>it was "Senegoaaaaaaaaal"<br>

2002 is the best ever world cup for me for varoius personal reasons also...the world cup i enjoyed watching.
