All said and done,  India needs a full time coach / manager.
Infact we also need a separate Coach for Under 19   and a Technical Director (Foreigner)

If AIFF is suffering a funding crunch, this means that Kalyan Chaubey is not fit for this job.

Coach salary comes from SAI / Central Governent.  Even then these guys are not able to manage.
Seems like, things got changed now reg N.T coach salary. SAI have covered only 60-70% salary of Stimac's compensation. Maybe SAI/Govt will cover entire 100% salary only for certain disciples. Also read somewhere, as per the upcoming changes in policies, SAI will cover only 30-40% of Indian football N.T coach salary.

According to a report published in Uttarbanga Sangbad, Sanjoy Sen might probably be chosen as the new NT coach. There is some uncertainty regarding the future of Manolo Marquez and whether the new coach would be announced at the AIFF executive committee meeting today. Khalid Jamil is reportedly not interested in taking up the assignment. Habas and Ivan Vukomanović were reportedly interested in the job; however, Mumbai City FC have reportedly held initial talks with Vukomanović (though Vukomanović has denied this https://www.onmanorama.com/sports/football/2025/07/01/ivan-vukomanovic-indian-football-problems-aiff.html). So, Sanjoy is the frontrunner for the job now; only if he does not agree for some reason, would the committee consider someone else.

Khalid did the right thing . Who would want to take over this mess and ruin their reputation?
