    Pradeep Showcaused

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has asked National Team midfielder N. P. Pardeep to show cause for abusing the AIFF on a social networking website. Pradeep has been asked to give a written explanation by May 11 and present himself at the Football House on May 16.

This is what had happened :

Indian National Team: N.P.Pradeep And Joaquim Abranches Fail To Learn Lessons From Sunil Chhetri’s Tweet Saga

Bob Houghton was one of the most loved and respected coaches amongst the players’ fraternity and when the decision of resignation became public on Saturday afternoon, several Indian national team players expressed their rage over the way the issue was handled by the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

As Goal.com had mentioned a few days back before Houghton’s putting in his papers as India coach, the Indian FA and the Englishman reached an agreement wherein all the charges, including that of racism were dropped by the AIFF in return for the resignation letter.

Amongst those chagrined by the whole affair were N.P.Pradeep and Joaquim Abranches and the duo didn’t make any efforts to curb their instincts.

The Viva Kerala playmaker used foul language to describe the behavior of AIFF officials.

“F**K you AIFF" and "F****** AIFF officials" were the precise words used by the 2007 Nehru Cup hero and only after being intimated by an official from the I-League department of the Indian FA that the Kerala player eventually deleted his comment from Facebook. It even egged on a few fans to follow suit as they praised him for voicing his thoughts against the AIFF.

It was in the past week that the AIFF had show caused Sunil Chhetri for his tweet where he seemingly criticized the actions of those in power.

I agree with somesh,I don't think Pardeep had to say such words especially when an AIFF official was present during the discussion. <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? -->

Some members of IFNF are needlessly showing sympathy to AIFF. This organisation is responsible for the mess they have made of football in India. Can anybody agree that we deserve to be in the 145th position in world football? We are a great country & we deserve to be in the topmost position not only in football but in all sports and other spheres of life. On the contrary we find ourselves making headlines for all the wrong reasons, just because inefficient & corrupt minority few rule over us.

let me make things clear. we(at least me) are not showing sympathy towards AIFF. I m protesting the immoral behaviour of NP Pradeep. A man at his position shud speak responsibly.

Immoral? That's a little excessive no? None of the parties involved are children. While obscenity isn't exactly a redeeming virtue, it is surely not deserving of the tantrum the AIFF is throwing. And in any case, the AIFF isn't just riled up by the obscenity. Chhetri was very guarded in his comments and they show caused him as well. They just don't like anyone speaking up against them, which is very undemocratic. And it isn't just the AIFF. Most organizations in India are the same. BCCI, Congress I, BJP, just to name a few, have banned/thrown out members for speaking out against them.
