You are just following the football circlejerk that England is an overhyped machine when that is not true this time. Real expectations were given and even then they failed and that is plainly to do with Roy and his rubbish way of running the team.
What the fuck is that supposed to mean? The EPLs fame? Again, we are not saying we should have won the freaken World Cup but at least got out of the fucken group and beaten one of Italy or Uruguay or even beat both. In the end we only lost 2-1 on both occasions and we were not blown out but if we had the right players we could have won these matches.
Now, about technical ability, let me ask you, do you know what that means? Tell me why you think we lack technical ability. Many of these players for England play for Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton, and Chelsea... clubs which stress good technical ability so what your saying makes no bloody sense. Fuck whatever Prandelli said, that guy is now out of a job and Tabárez has worse things to worry about than England, hint, it involves someones eating habits.
Again, I can say this till the cows come home, England should have at least made the Round of 16 but Roy's reliance on certain players and a weak defense caused us to leave early, and that to in last place. The goal now for Euro 2016 and World Cup 2018 should be to move forward with the young squad. Tell guys like Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, and Ricky Lampard that it is over. Add Phil Jagielka to that, good defender but should not be starting.
Guys like John Stones, Flanagan, Walker, Gibbs, Townsend, Rodriguez, and Walcott should be brought back into the squad. Jack Butland, Eric Dier, Liam Moore, Ward-Prowse, Redmond, and Berahino should also slowly be brought in.
