    the new league i feel is not a bad idea..some of the reasons for less interest of people for i league are poor infrastructure, poor performance of NT..it will take much time for i league to build infrastucture..good foreign players are reluctant to come here -one of d reasons being bad infra. ya it will harm i league but i think d clubs wont lose their interest in i league..a new way of earning for the clubs  from their agreement  with franchises...n franchises will be more interested to take more players from top finishing i league clubs...once the infrastructure is in place,letz bring back i league in full swing

    </font><br><div style="font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal; "><br></div><div style="font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal; ">Wat. Okay I get it, this league is promising but its a rush.</div><div style="font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal; "><br></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2">As for foreigners, there is no reluctance to come to India. Those two Lebanese guys came to the league and best of all CARLOS HERNANDEZ. I mean what do you expect. Do you guys expect I-League to be like MLS where we can afford a 31 year old Owen Hargreeves or a 32 year old Michael Owen. </font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2"><br></font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2">Also clubs are into infrastructure but its happening slowly. Fatorda is getting a revamp. Cooperage is revamping. Pune FC have the best facilities. Tilak is revamping. Bagan is revamping the Mohun Bagan Ground. We got the Ambedkar Stadium and Nehru Stadium for any potential Delhi teams. We got the newly redone Municipal in Kerala for a Kerala team. The Nehru in Chennai. We have good infrastructure at I-League level. Yes it is happening slowly but I-League is only 6 years old. </font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2"><br></font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2">Also how will interest be up. I-League might lose AFC Cup spots from this. First off if you think this franchise can get into AFC Champions League you are wrong. We need 10 clubs. Also the league season should be 8 months! Not 2 months. 2 months gets you Presidents Cup.</font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2"><br></font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2">Also can someone please explain how this complies with the demands of the IPFCA.</font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2"><br>Also if you need reminding...</font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2">http://www.the-afc.com/uploads/Documents/regulation/clubcriteria.pdf</font></div>;

    <br><div><br></div><div>China have the gift of most of there population (or non urban) being based in the East of China, or more specifically South-East China. They can concentrate there football there.</div><div><br></div><div>Although it is not as if China are doing well themselves. Ya they have some big names but the locals are shit. They need to work with youth investment. As with Qatar, Iran, UAE. They get all these star players yet the locals are not good. Yes they shall rise to maybe regular at Asian Cups and World Cups but they shall never contend and with the money they have, they should contend. That is why I love the US, Australian, Japanese, Korean models. They perfected it somewhat.</div>
