    Exatly what's in it for us ?? Dont understand the need for it. Would we have SWAFF championship instead of SAFF ?? Can anyone clear what's it for.

    Why should we think what will happen to Nepal and Bhutan?? Maldives, Pak and Bangla got entry due to being Muslim nations and being close to Saudi. SL, I am not sure how. Maybe due to just to show that there is no anomaly. Also due to the geographic position maybe.

    I dont think religion has anything to do with this. The countries removed are Arabic speaking Muslim countries. It is more about politics and foreign relations of present saudi regime. India should not be taking sides. lets see how it goes.

    As of now, AFC itself has not recognised it. Their website says ASEAN, east, West, Central, South only. Probably AFC might veto this.

    I think before Subrata Dutta featured in that pic, Ind Govt. was briefed. This is a politically motivated decision. Govt. gave his nod before I am sure.

    Feeling bad for Bhutan. SAFF was the safest place for them .... they will be eaten alive in any other fed.
