But ILeague always had that rawness and madness attached to football..unlike ISL which looks glamourus and fake..that is not Indian football ..mimicking IPL will not fetch audiences..Teams should have the right to scout or get players whom they want through their network/agents whatever ...why is the need of auction..what is this semi final and final..whoever is at the top of league be winners period..not saying ILeague was perfect..but ISL looks too dreamy stuff to last long..with huge Franchisee costs etc..
@jitug1979 ; ISL will last forever, don't worry. However my main preference is for completely merged league, if thta is not possible then ISL should be 1st division
The difference is : I-league is/was run by C****** people like Sunanda Dhar & AIFF & club owners were stupid to not form a strong community among them... But ISL is run by India's biggest businessman's company, it has to work. Else one way or another he will take his money back with interest, whether you like it or not. And its not going anywhere.
