"Ajit Isaac of QUESS seems to have pretty much screwed & scared FSDL-Reliance who are now using media (@ttindia )to create a hype about ISL & @eastbengalfc .On one hand AIFF is saying that QEB is interested on the other hand they are saying "IF" Quess East Bengal is interested"
@shanks_dehighliving: The point that this fan site has been trying to make (it is not my point) that there has been no official declaration of QEB joining the ISL. The most prominent reports of EB joining ISL next season have appeared on Goal and the Times Group Publications---TOI and Ei Samay. (there has been some inferences in other dailies too but not so prominent as in these publications/websites) It is true that Ajit Isaac has had meetings with Kushal Das and Sundar Raman but he has made no formal announcement that EB would be playing in ISL. Rather he has stated in an interview with a Bengali daily (Pratidin) that he would not comment on joining ISL. As they say, "This @Ei_Samay article is a collage of statements from different period of time, glued together with perceptions of the author."
Therefore, it is the contention of this fan site, arguably in rather hyperbolic language, that in his meetings, Isaac may have been able to make the point that AIFF/FSDL cannot unilaterally make ISL the premier league of the country and relegate the I-league to the status of the second division league. Hence, these somewhat unsubstantiated reports appearing in different publications about EB and ISL may be a ploy by FSDL-Reliance to create a hype about East Bengal and ISL.
Of course, it should be taken as a hypothesis and not as a claim.
We are happy to announce that Renedy Singh (AFC - A licence) will be our new head coach. We welcome our head coach to the #OrangeBrigade .
"Glad to signed for NEROCA FC. Looking forward to work with the players" - Renedy Singh
