you cant prove it in most cases and there arent many records available i mean lets face it , if one can make passport on fudged data all records are checked (as far as I know for passport, documents are well tested than other ID proofs .. still its not 100% trusted of course)
now how these people know age fraud , there are number of factors 1. talking with players(plural) 2. talking with coaches mind it no one will testify in public, its same principle as bribing 3. cross verifying with tournaments played by that player in last 10 years (e.g. if U18 player has played some U16 category back in 2009 so theoretically he is 7-8 years old which is too hard to believe) 4. height difference in last 5 years 5. one way to know is tracking progress/performance of player till he is 30-35, so lets say if U18 player is actually 25yrs then there are good chances he wont have that good sprint/stamina when he becomes 27 on paper cos in reality he will 34
Bottom line is age fraud is there and its fucking destroying our Football ( other nations do it too but they have large pool of players, better leagues and facilities, good coaches at senior level) Dont be Native to assume players do minimal 2-3 years of fraud, there are players present who does 10years fraud too and its not just players sometimes coaches themselves ask players to get one more birth certificate...
I wont comment on those tests , may be @munna219777 can shed more light w.r.t. accuracy of those
Age fraud is definetly wrong but I'm just asking a simple question whether if you guys can share proof before calling someone an age cheat. Just imagine how would it feel if tommorow you are acused of a crime you didnt commit and get your ass whopped over it.
Also this wasnt the right time to raise such an issue when Amarjit is playing for senior team. For me he or any other player should be in senior team as long as he performs good, dosent matter if he' 16 or 40.
@shanks_dehighliving Bone Tests for determining age cannot predict exact age. I have read that errors can be + or - "2 "years of age. This is huge at this level. Some people were writing that improper Bone Age atlas for a particular demographic or inaccurate/obsolete methods used may be the reason behind this error.
I am not a Medical student but we have so many Doctors here, they can explain this further.
Being a lawyer I regularly deal with cases involving either 17-18 year old boys accused of committing offences like rape or murder and claiming the defence of being declared juvenile offenders (to escape harsh sentencing) or victims (especially females) of sexual offences claiming to be below 16 - 18 years age (as sexual intercourse, even consenting, with a girl of age below 16 years is statutory rape and any sexual offence with a vicyim below the age of 18 invokes POCSO Act). In these circumstances the govt doctors perform bone density test And measure the length of arm from elbow etc to determine an approximate age. As @munna21977 rightly said this test has a margin of error +(-) 2. But law generalky accepts the age determined by the doctors unless some extreme variation between the person's physical attributes and his declared age through such test is discovered. So why can't AUFF too cobduct bone test for all its age group players (or does it do so already?)
1.FSDL (IMGReliance) has told AIFF to declare ISL the top division league of Iindian football this month or they'll stop payments to AIFF
2.FSDL is also allegedly pressuring AIFF to give out harsher punishments to I-League clubs who boycotted Super Cup.
3.Also get this - apparently FSDL is shit scared of
U Mumba wanting to play in I-League!
They have told AIFF no new corporate club can be added to the real top division league. 4.And they're also trying to ensure no top flight game gets shown on TV.
