by the way east bengal unveiled this year team in south city mall along with some marechendise launch. --> they have introduced a EAST BENGAL DEODRANT ( seriously i've never heard of such marechendise) also much more to come. -->program in south city( most expensive and posh mall of kolkata) created a buzz. --> also they are opening the residencial academy very soon. as per Debabrata Sarkar's interview ( today xtra time) club is looking for foreign scouts, they want do nurture foreign talent also in their academy. in my opinion debabrata sarkar is serious in last sentence then that is pretty good.
If thats going on then hosting there may not be the best thing to do. Is the Ambedkar Stadium in Delhi available? What about the Nehru Stadium in Shillong? Hyderabad?
India National Team International Match can be organised at following venues:-
1) Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana ( Floodlights are there and JCT games were held there) 2) Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad ( Floodlights plus AFC Challenge Cup games were held there) 3) JLN Stadium Chennai 4) Malappuram Stadium (not sure about their makeshift Floodlights) 5) Calicut Corporation Stadium if renovation is completed.
These cities have regular airport flights within 100 km of the stadium.
Besides that, I am surprised that IMG Reliance will not let any game to be played in any other stadium. It means that nothing can be organised in Salt Lake stadium in Kolkata as IMG has booked it.
