Toi got great hits on their website the first time they published about mishaps in indian foitball and thankfully they got their cue and hence these articles
Times of India is a Corporate and BJP paper. They can criticise AIFF but will not say anything against IMG-Reliance or ISL. Times of india wants to create an impression that only AIFF is responsible, not ISL or IMG-Reliance for decline of India Football.
According to sources, the coaches of the ISL teams were eager to release the national players but the organisers were adamant that the players went directly to play the matches
When contacted, national coach Stephen Constantine admitted that there will be no preparatory camp before the World Cup Qualifiers. A disappointed Stephen told NDTV.com, "It is a norm to release national players at least 4 to 5 days before a FIFA game, but unfortunately this is not going to happen." India are winless so far in three games, having lost to Iran as recently as September 8.
@munna219777 Marcus Mergulhao writes for the Times of India and he has been very vocal against the ISL... maybe not directly but it is so obvious whenever anyone reads his articles.
So will India be allowed to even use ISL players in the international matches or not at all? No camp is horrible but to not even be able to use the Indians in ISL would be means to put a bullet in the heads of whoever runs the league.
