Anas suffered a hamstring injury before the SAFF Championship and was sidelined for more than six weeks. The player is currently recovering in Delhi and is expected to join the ranks of DSK Shivajians soon
Veteran coach T.K. Chathunni returns to coaching again. At the age of 72, he has taken up the challenge of coaching a relatively new club in Chennai, Gokulam FC. He has commented that football has gained huge popularity in Tamil Nadu, thanks to Chennaiyin FC's success. He was the coach who guided Mohun Bagan to their first NFL trophy in 1996. He then had stints with many major clubs like Dempo, Salgaocar, Churchill Brothers, Chirag United Kerala, Josco FC etc. I remember an anecdote when he was employed as the Mohun Bagan coach. Paltu Das, the legendary East Bengal recruiter, jokingly asked a journo, 'Whom have our neighbours employed as the new coach-some chutney, or sauce'? To his credit, he did deliver the goods for Mohun Bagan when he was still a relatively new face in Indian football.

India on 23rd position
The positive note is there are a couple of clubs here who want to take a plunge into ileague 2.
if Only if there is relative pulling power of i-league 2 then we would have a lot more clubs participating.
